Design duo, Doris Ho and Mark Kane, successfully incorporate their backgrounds in fashion design and graphic design to create Beard & Bangs. The couple has been designing together since Autumn 2001 when they first met at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. They immediately bonded over music and vegan baking secrets.

They find inspiration in world history and culture, Francophilia, nature, typography, childhood folklore, country and folk music, handcrafts and textile design, and public libraries.

Beard & Bangs has garnered press in ELLE, NYLON, NYLON Guys, Rolling Stone, Teen Vogue, Sportswear International, Metro.Pop, NYMag.com, Refinery29.com, DailyCandy.com, and CoolHunting.com.

Doris and Mark are currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
